Lillesand is known for its unique archipelago, with more than 1,000 islands and reefs. In summer, you can take the Bathing Boat or join M/S ØYA on a trip between Lillesand and Kristiansand.

If you want an experience completely out of the ordinary, spend the night in Mysteriehuset, the city's escape room - with a twist.

If you enjoy heights, the world's highest free-standing climbing tower, the Experience Tower OVER, is waiting for you. 47 meters high, with internal stairs, projections with glass floors and a view halfway to Denmark.

In the summer, the city pulsates, with festivals, summer shows, concerts, exhibitions and folk life in the city center streets and guest harbour.

In Lillesand, you are never far from your next nature experience. The hiking trails are numerous and well maintained, whether you are quick on your feet, need a wheelchair, cycle or walk with a pram. The hiking area at Kaldvell is an eldorado for both exercisers and families on hikes.

The archipelago outside Lillesand is known for its good fishing, all year round. Right from the first sea trout caught in the spring to the lobster fishing in October.

In Lillesand you can rent your own boat, or borrow a rowing boat from Verven. Here you can also see traces of the city's heyday during the sailing era.

Take a look at the city and maritime museum, or join a city walk. Or just take a stroll around the narrow alleyways and enjoy an ice cream on the quayside.
